Senior Controls Specialist

Candidates must be available to work all shifts including nights/weekends Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Computer Science/Information Technology (IT) or degree in related field. Will consider Associate's degree if candidate meets all other criteria. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Controls Engineer, Programmer, or Technician required; experience working in a manufacturing facility is preferred. Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Rockwell PLC programming experience required. A strong knowledge of control system networks and communication protocols, knowledge of all required control system software applications, and the ability to troubleshoot an array of control system issues. Functional knowledge of manufacturing automation control system infrastructure and software; this would include the ability to read prints and diagrams, thorough understanding of control system design principles. Position is not strictly controls related. Candidates must have the ability to troubleshoot PLC and logic based system related issues. Will support data acquisition and diagnostic systems and provide technical support for all plant IT activities related to plant floor systems. May be required to drive a company car. A valid driver's license is required as well as a clean driving record. May be required to travel domestically (local plants) up to 20%.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
